How Did Lance Ingram of Yesterday's Concert Fall in Love with Wayne's World (1992) Without SNL w/ Lance Ingram

This week's guest is Lance Ingram of the Yesterday's Concert Podcast and he picked the rock and roll film, Penelope Spheeris' Wayne's World (1992). From the iconic, "Bohemian Rhapsody" to Wayne and Garth bowing and screaming "We're not worthy!" to Alice Cooper, Ryan and Lance talk about all the classic and 80s rock references that they weave throughout the movie, as well as breaking down the majority of the soundtrack.

Lance points out that the movie exists in a very different musical universe than Cameron Crowe's Singles, which also came out in 1992. Lance and Ryan also chat about their music fandom and how it's evolved over the yearsl

Ryan has a degree in Film Studies, and he’s a musician. So, Soundtrack Your Life is the perfect intersection of his two main passions. Plus, he’s an avid music fan—hunting down rare songs from his favorite bands has familiarized him with many obscure soundtracks over the years.
