What are Nicole and Ryan's Favorite Moments from Christmas at Pee-Wee's Playhouse (1988)

Happy Holidays! We've made it to the end of 2023 and Nicole and Ryan are ending the year by paying tribute to the great Paul Reubens aka Pee-Wee Herman, who passed away earlier this year.

Christmas at Pee-Wee's Playhouse was released in 1988 as a primetime special but it still holds a special place in the hearts of our hosts. It's a special packed to the brim with guest stars and musicians such as: Grace Jones, KD Lang, Little Richard, Magic Johnson, Oprah Winfrey, Cher, Charo, Lawrence Fishburne, and more!

Nicole and Ryan share their favorite memories from the special and talk about what they watch and listen to during the holiday season! Thanks for listening in 2023 and we hope that you'll be back to listen to new episodes of Soundtrack Your Life in 2024!

Ryan has a degree in Film Studies, and he’s a musician. So, Soundtrack Your Life is the perfect intersection of his two main passions. Plus, he’s an avid music fan—hunting down rare songs from his favorite bands has familiarized him with many obscure soundtracks over the years. It's been so gratifying for him to hear fellow film and music enthusiasts share their stories of why they love soundtracks!
